Grotanol 3025 is a liquid, low-foaming disinfectant of product type PT 2 — "disinfectants and algaecides not intended for direct application to humans or animals".
Grotanol 3025 provides full action against bacteria and viruses, as well as yeast and mould. The product also provides full action when disinfecting blood water.
Grotanol 3025 is well suited to disinfection of surfaces, equipment and machinery. Because the product foams little, it is also well suited to circulation systems. The product is fully water-soluble, and treated surfaces and tools can be rinsed with water.
Grotanol 3025 has low toxicity (LD50 oral rat 2079 mg/kg body weight), and the in-use solution is biodegradable. The product is non-flammable, and in solution is normally not irritating to skin and eyes. Grotanol 3025 contains no formaldehyde.
Protective measures: Although Grotanol 3025 has low toxicity in normal solution, the same protective measures as for the concentrate are recommended — including use of rubber gloves. See the separate safety datasheet, which must be read before the product is used.
